5KL – Year 5 Blogging Site – Woodthorpe JI School nurtures children to become confident and creative learners. Thank you for all of the consent slips that have been returned for our trip to Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Tuesday 23rd May. If you haven’t sent this back, please could I request this to be done by Monday.

Children will come to school in their school uniform on Tuesday and will need a packed lunch and 2x water bottles for the day. If your child usually has a hot meal, please order a packed lunch through DinnerPay.

Grammar Test

We write to advise that registration is now open for parents who would like their child to sit the entrance test for a place at any of the grammar schools in Birmingham (entry to Year 7 in September 2024).

Registration can be made online by visiting the website below.

The closing date for registering is 4pm on 30^th June 2023.

The test will take place on 16^th September 2023.
